Job Purpose:

- The role is market facing and the successful candidate will work to develop, expand, and maintain a positive long-term,high impact, value-adding and trusted relationship with the clients.

- As a Lead Strategic Partnership executive you will be a self-starter with the drive of a true hunter, motivated to build client relationships and deliver new business partnerships which will be instrumental to the CLIENT's success.

Ideal Candidate:

- Your priorities will be setting strategy, identifying key target segments and connecting with C-level executives as well as executing on the strategy, closing deals, building the sales pipeline and delivering on your targets. You have a strong ability to identify and recognize a client's business challenges and needs and can provide the tailored solution required to support CLIENT's growth engine.

- Your experience in B2B sales and strong senior level relationships will be added advantage. You will be passionate about selling product solutions and have had previous success in delivering on large deals and sales targets. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, rolling up your sleeves and getting involved in a variety of areas to support your team in CLIENT. You will be a balance between a practical, hands-on the mindset with creative business acumen and an entrepreneurial spirit. Your leadership and interpersonal skills will be outstanding.

Core responsibilities

- The ideal candidate will not only be analytical and strategic, but also have the entrepreneurial spirit required to build something new, iterate on it, and expand it all while managing scarce resources. They will also have a deep understanding of Partnership, alliances, business development, and on the ground operations.

- Balancing both the strategic and tactical elements of deal negotiation

- Contribution to proposal development including in areas of client insight, approach, pricing, and deal closure

- Drive all aspects of partner relationship including business development, enablement, partner marketing and solution development

- Manage partner pipeline as per aligned frameworks and grow the channel to 10X in 6 months

- Present and promote Company's value proposition and capabilities as a WIN-WIN to partners

- Full and practical hold of all stages of the opportunity and sales cycle for high - end major accounts

- Manage all relationship interlocks - executive, product development, marketing, delivery

- The leadership of key dimensions of thought leadership and proactive client engagement strategies

- Collaborate with internal marketing, revenue, tech, and other relevant teams to build and execute joint demand generation plans

- Create and implement partnerships playbook 


- Define the metrics for setting up partnerships as a key channel for growth.

Key Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications

- BE/B.Tech with MBAs

- 8 to 14 years of experience post-MBA in strategic partnerships, sales, or business development

- Strong analytical skills and 1st principle thinking

- Structured problem-solving ability

- Strong negotiation and indirect/ cross-functional stakeholder management skills

- Good balance of big picture + implementation rigor

- Experience in team and project management

- Demonstrated experience in managing projects, staff and internal initiatives or strategic programs
