Infrastructure Lead - Acts as primary point of contact for IFRS17 application infrastructure - Provides architecture reviews and recommendations on system management, disaster recovery, availability, and security designs - Ensures alignment with wider corporate infrastructure policies and standards - Represent IFRS17 solution in infrastructure change management meetings which include hardware changes, operating system upgrades and security patch management - Manages documentation related to infrastructure / cloud services including design, build, run, and costing - Takes ownership of highly complex or critical incidents and problems and provides resolutions in a timely manner - Direct infrastructure and application service providers in the installation, configuration and administration of cloud solutions included SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS - Administer infrastructure health monitoring and keep them up to date and relevant - Monitor and maintain the backup infrastructure and associated jobs - Reviews the billing monthly for cloud services and software licenses and reconciles with budget - Continually identifies improvement opportunities to improve performance and stability of the application infrastructure - Manages the life cycle of a current technology based on business value/case - Provides input to project planning and project status for infrastructure related project activities and deliverables - Acts as Project Manager for infrastructure only projects and proof of concepts - Manages the workload for infrastructure support, balancing 2 production incidents, service requests and change requests - Follows change management and release management practices and familiar with Jenkins, Bitbucket, Terraform, and Confluence - Provides quality control and monitoring of vendor deliverables - Serves as a key participant in team and stakeholder meetings - Effectively communicates relevant project/practice information to superiors and peers across the company and with vendors Qualifications & Experience : - University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related subjects - Broad based technology background in applications and infrastructure - Sound knowledge of cloud technology, including experience with Azure suite of services e.g. Data Lake, Data Factory, Databricks - Experience with Data Warehouse, ETL, Reporting & Analytics preferred - Strong knowledge and sound experience in Control-M - - Preferably holds licenses or certifications such as: SSL, ITIL, HP, IAT, MS, VCP, Azure engineer certification II, CE, CCNP - Expertise in DevOps models/framework and familiar with Jenkin, Terraform, Bitbucket / Artifactory, Jira, Confluence etc. - Strong interpersonal skills with ability to listen to team members, and build and lead teams - Confronts issues openly and quickly in a constructive manner - Adept at conflict resolution and able to appropriately escalate to management any critical issues - Able to relate complex technical issues and solutions to a wide range of audiences (management, end users, technical staff) - Experience in reviewing the performance & service level of the vendor - Previous experience with finance transformation in the insurance industry a plus
