Lead/Analyst - Wind Resource - Infrastructure Firm

Job Responsibilities :

- Prepare the Wind Resource Assessment/Analysis (WRA) methodology document which will be used for internal Energy Yield Analysis

- Complete WRA resource assessment and Internal Energy yield estimation

- Engage Third party WRA for external EYA Report and vetting the third-party report

- Come out with final PLF nos which will be taken in Investment case for new projects

- Calculate losses due to clipping due to restricted transformation capacity for Wind/Hybrid projects

- Met Mast Planning and Installation, wind data management

- Wind data analysis, site suitability analysis, wind farm layout optimization

- Plan for power curve verification test with third party vendor and execute it

- Energy yield estimation-Raw Data cleaning /synthesizing, Roughness map preparation

- Mast Data management- Ensure minimum data gaps by doing necessary steps

- Asset Performance analysis- Business Plan V/S actual

- Energy forecasting using historical data and future trends

Candidate Profile:

- Qualification: B.Tech

- Years of experience: 12-16 years

- Should currently be working in the wind sector and must have had significant experience in this sector

- Hands on experience in WRA software like Windogrpher, Global mapper WAsP, WindPro, WindFarmer and other data retrieving tools for resource assessment

- Should have hands on experience in leading the WRA function for the firm
