An international globally recognized Health Research organization in the socio development sector. The organization is affiliated with several leading universities of the world and has worked on projects in over 40 counties. It is one of the global leader in research and policy in its field of work.

Location : The position is based in India and the candidate can work from any location in India

Experience : Experience of at least 2 years in conducting meta-analyses

Job Summary : The position will support the Program Head in designing, analyzing and reporting, mainly, meta-analysis and clinical trials of effects of pharmacological therapies. The role offers a prospect of working in collaboration with some of the world's leading researchers, clinicians and academic partners and contribute to work to be published in leading global journals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Contribute to the design of meta-analyses and clinical trials

- Author statistical analysis plans for meta-analyses and clinical trials

- Prepare derived datasets for analysis

- Program and validate statistical analysis

- Perform meta-analysis (including network meta-analysis, meta-regression, Bayesian meta-analysis); and analysis of data from clinical trials

- Contribute to the development of data collection forms for meta-analyses and clinical trials

- Contribute to database management of meta-analysis (of thousands of trials, hundreds of variables per trial) and clinical trials

- Estimate power and sample size for clinical trials

- Work on large data sets to assess patterns in use of medications

- Be responsible for the statistical analysis of the assigned studies

- Create publication quality graphs/figures and tables

- Assist in writing reports and publication manuscripts

Required qualification, experience and skills:

- Experience of at least 2 years in conducting meta-analyses

- Doctoral/Master's degree preferably in Biostatistics / Statistics

- Experience in the management of large and complex datasets

- Demonstrated capability to produce outcomes and achieve objectives within agreed time periods

- Strong problem solving, analytical skills, and proven strategic thinking

- Demonstrated resourcefulness, with ability to influence others to achieve common goals

- Excellent interpersonal skills with high level of proficiency in English and the ability to work well autonomously

- Strong focus on producing the highest quality of work and on ensuring optimum accuracy of outputs
