Financial Modelling Lead & M&A Analyst
Experience/Skills Required :
Essential :
- Experience in financial advisory/project/ developer in a similar position/responsibility
- Ability to create independent complex financial models
- Understanding of fundamental project finance principles and valuation techniques
- Modelling best practices
Additional experience preferred :
- Exposure to global power/water/renewable sectors
- Exposure to international companies with large complexity and to multicultural environments
- Knowledge and/or exposure to tenders in Gulf regions and/or India renewable energy tenders
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Create and manage various financial models during the life cycle of the project (initial assessment/bids, construction, operation)
- Power, water, wastewater projects tenders across different geographies
- Acquisition or Sale of power, water, wastewater projects
- Corporate financial model and portfolio analysis
- Supervise, audit, and manage financial models created by external advisors
- Work with internal teams and external advisors to gather inputs for the financial models
- Undertake analysis and quantification of risks and scenarios to support decision making
- Production of financial and investment returns analysis for the purpose of reporting to senior management
- In addition to the primary responsibilities above, the candidate shall be trained to provide support on the Project finance and M&A activities on the following aspects,
- Support to all phases of a Project Financing from start of the Due Diligence to Financial Close
- Support to all phases of an M&A transaction (buy side or sell side)
- Support to all activities related to the preparation of a bid
- Preparation of presentations on the activities of the company and on specific topics as required
- Support and preparation of internal memoranda according to the company's standards and approval process
