Job Description :
- Work closely with a cross functional team to achieve the PMO goals.
- Design, build and run a PMO function in accordance with the leadership vision and organization strategy and goals, which should include building the right support-structure, technology and tools to be successful across verticals.
- Create a Project Review framework that will operate across business verticals and be used by all function heads to oversee and manage all projects with a particular focus on onshore and offshore project management operations.
- Monitor and review implementation of key strategic and operational initiatives across verticals.
- Review the various programs and projects to discover issues, conflicts and resolve the same.
- Create and operate a continuous improvement plan for the various initiatives that oversee the process methodologies and tools in operation.
- Prepare for review with the Management w.r.t people, budget, projects, performance parameters etc and act on the feedback.
- Coach team members to ensure process adherence and effective project management utilizing best practice of project management skill
Requirements :
- Ideally 13 to 16 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other technical discipline (BE, BTech, MCA)
- Preferably holding an MBA in Software Systems from a reputed institute
- A strong team-player who can take the others along and build an efficient PMO operations
- Demonstrated leadership skills including ability to lead and collaborate with cross functional management to achieve the PMO Goals without formal reporting relationships.
- Excellent people management skills with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team.
- Must have strong powerpoint presentation skills including creating intuitive decks demonstrating visual storytelling techniques.
- Must be proficient in data collection, mining and use of efficient data-crunching to derive relevant meaning out of it and come up with fact-driven visual stories/presentations
- Must have project delivery background
- Must have set up (from scratch) and sustained Operations center of excellence for at least 2 large and complex programs
- Data-driven thought process, KPI-based measurement and reporting of operational efficiency of programs
- Affluent in english communication both verbal as well as written language
- A go-getter, solution oriented, adept at building working relationships with diverse range of professionals to help successful delivery of operational efficiencies
- Must have managed recruitment, timesheet-management, L&D processes among other relevant PMO-oriented topics
- Experienced with creating crisp but powerful newsletters process
- Must have strong knowledge on Project management processes methodology and tools
- Continuous improvement programs.
- Must have experience in managing services related programs.
- Demonstrated expertise in planning budgeting and project management directed at achievement of short and long-term business goals.
- Strong organization skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong project management, leadership and negotiation skills.
- Flexible and able to multitask, who can work within an ambiguous fast-moving environment while also driving towards clarity and solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills - good judgment, maturity and capability to communicate with a diverse range of individuals.
- Proven high-degree of problem solving and decision-making ability
