Lead - Accounts & Finance - India - CA/CPA/CMA

- Role is to oversee the accounting operations for our India-based team while supporting financial close processes for our US-based operations.

- As a key member of our global finance team, this role will play a pivotal part in shaping our accounting function, including documenting policies, procedures, and controls in line with US GAAP and implementing modern accounting tools to streamline workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the full spectrum of accounting operations for Company AI's India-based entity.

- Collaborate with the US accounting team to ensure seamless and timely financial close processes.

- Develop and document accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls aligned with US GAAP standards.

- Implement and optimize advanced accounting software to enhance operational efficiency.

- Support the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and audits.

- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations across multi-entity operations in India and the US.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (equivalent to Chartered Accountant or a relevant professional qualification in India).

- CPA, CMA, or CA certification.

- 3-5 years of experience working with US GAAP and international accounting standards.

- 5-8 years of overall experience in accounting or finance roles.

- Proven experience collaborating with multinational teams across geographies (India and US preferred).

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth organization and manage both day-to-day tasks and strategic initiatives.
