Lawyer - Legal Counsel - Big4 (4-9 yrs)

Gurgaon/Gurugram Job Code: 591804

Our client is looking for an Indian lawyer who can be an effective member of our India Legal Team focused on contracts for the delivery of commercial and technology and related services.

Client: One of the Big Four firms

Location: Gurgaon

Experience: 4 to 8 years

Education: BA LLB or Above

Requirements for the role: Each person appointed will need the following qualifications, skills and experience.

- Experience of handling legal or contracting queries and drafting or amending legal documents

- Indian or UK qualified solicitor with a minimum of 4 years post qualification experience

- Analytical abilities

- Ability to articulate points in writing and orally, clearly and succinctly

- Ability to persuade where necessary

- Negotiating abilities

- Capabilities in Outlook, Word and use of websites

- Willingness to acquire knowledge of OGC's practices and processes

- Ability to be calm under pressure

- Ability to handle difficult or pressurised situations or people

- Commercial judgement and the ability to balance conflicting demands

- Initiative, self-confidence and authority

- Understanding of the risks faced by providers of professional services

- Awareness of cultural issues affecting regulated professional services firms.

The person appointed will have particular experience in the following areas:

- Contracts for complex business advisory projects, such as business transformations

- Contracts for services relating to IT systems integration, and large IT installations

- Software licensing agreements and contracts with software suppliers

- Experience of negotiating multi-jurisdictional master service agreements
