Desired Profile: - At least 25+ years of experience of which the incumbent should have spent minimum of 12 years of practice in an industrial / corporate medical setup that includes some experience of dealing with employees, unions and hospitals. Qualification: MBBS / MD. Candidates with specialization in Occupational Medicine will be preferred - He should have strong network and relationship with all hospitals, government bodies and other medical bodies. - He should have knowledge of factories act, laws, regulations related to occupational health with exposure of hazardous and non-hazardous industrial operations - Knowledge of medicine - Surgical knowledge and competence Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for all L&T managed health / medical centers - Health Centre Management, including monitoring of compliance with Factories Act. - Lead the design and roll-out of all health schemes / medical schemes planned and undertaken for employees of L&T. - Liaison with Hospitals which can cater to the medical requirements of L&T employees, assess insurance facilities and negotiate profitable deals for employees. - Wellness and Engagement Schemes Design and Roll-out - Co-ordinate and liaison with government and other medical bodies (e.g. MEDEX, WHO, FICCI, NDA, State governments etc.), press, national level programs (e.g. programs for TB, Leprosy, Blindness control etc.), CII, NGOs, etc. and attend national and international conferences in the capacity of a speaker or a delegate - Keep abreast of emerging models in health care delivery; identify and define new and innovative strategies to achieve business goals and objectives Competency/ Skill Set Required: - Demonstrate management, organizational and interpersonal skills - Strong administrative skills - Relationship Management / Networking skills - Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders - Self-assured and result oriented - Ability to solve problems and execute on initiatives
