Responsible for Bhopal Plant Accounts, Controlling, and Compliances - Overall Supervision of Plant accounts, Compliance and Controlling - Monthly closure of Plant accounts and Preparing Plant MIS - Work closely with Plant's head in overall total costs management of the plant - Monthly review of all GL accounts pertaining to Plant and analyze the spends versus Budget - Preparation of Plant Budgets and quarterly forecasts - Verification and approving of Invoices for booking and ensure the correctness of the amount charged, postings to correct GL codes & Cost Centres and relevant backup documents are available - Presenting the Plant P&L to Operations team by the 10th of every month with special focus on monthly cost trend, areas of improvement, etc - Ensuring Statutory compliances of the Plant-like filing of monthly GST returns, timely remittance of all statutory payments, GST Audits, Handle any department audits - Coordinating statutory/Internal/cost audits relating to the Plant - Supporting decision making at plant regarding make vs buy, Capex payback analysis, Cost/Benefit analysis, Business cases, feasibility study, etc. with clear assumptions - Timely booking of Invoices, Payments processing, Periodical vendor balance reconciliation, Control accounts reconciliation - Monthly Cost release and analysis of change in costs from month to month - Participate in monthly Physical count of Inventory in coordination with the Production team and reconciling the differences: RM, SFG, FG in Shop floor and outsourced materials - Analysis and reporting of Production order variances by order (Both price and quantity variance), correcting the variances by close coordination with the operations team - Ensure all productions orders &amp; confirmation are closed and 100% goods issue has been posted by month-end - Monthly reconciliation of COGS: GL versus sub-ledgers - Calculation of Overhead rates and maintaining the same in BOM - Monitor the Cost savings pipeline in coordination with the Operations team and report the trend on a monthly basis - Review of Weight Analysis report and compare it with SAP BOM - Supporting, Monitoring, and Review of Silvasa Plant transactions - Capex spend monitoring versus Budget - To be a member of the Scrap committee and ensure proper controls are in place for scrap accounting and disposal - Monthly analysis of Plant Inventory and report non-moving stock/quality stock for corrective actions - Ensuring internal controls are in place and effective and implement the new controls with and proper checks and balances - Any other activity as assigned by the Reporting Manager from time to time Qualification: - With 8 to 12 Yrs. of experience as Plant Controller - Cost Accountant (ICWAI)
