Lapp Group - Plant Controller/Cost Accountant (3-5 yrs)
- Monthly Cost release and analysis of change in costs from month to month
- Monthly Physical count of Inventory in coordination with Production team and reconciling the differences: RM, SFG, FG in Shopfloor and outsourced materials
- Analysis and reporting of Production order variances by order (Both price and quantity variance), correcting the variances by close coordination with operations team
- Ensure all productions orders & confirmation are closed and 100% goods issue has been posted by month end
- Monthly reconciliation of COGS: GL versus sub ledgers
- Plant MIS preparation and discussing with plant head before circulating to HO
- Presenting the Plant P&L to Operations team by 10th of every month with special focus on monthly cost trend, areas of improvement etc
- Calculation of Overhead rates and maintaining the same in BOM
- Monitor the Cost savings pipe line in coordination with Operations team and report the trend on a monthly basis
- Supporting decision making at plant by preparing cost/Benefit analysis, Business cases, feasibility study etc. with clear assumptions
- Review of Weight Analysis report and compare it with SAP BOM
- Timely and efficient closure of cost audits
- Supporting, Monitoring and Review of E2E transactions [Cost release, Stock counts, expenses etc]
- Capex spend monitoring versus Budget
- Any plant expense not covered by annual contracts needs to be approved by Plant head and Plant controller before the spend
- To be a member of the Scrap committee and ensure proper controls are in place for scrap accounting and disposal
- Preparation of annual plant Budgets and forecasts
- Verify the accounting vouchers to ensure correctness of the amount charged, postings to correct GL codes & Cost Centers and relevant documents & approvals are available as backup
- Verify the petty cash vouchers
- Any other activity as assigned by the Reporting Manager from time to time
- Non moving stock to be highlighted & corrective against top 10 items(RM in store,RM in shopflorr,WIP)
- Reporting of stock count variance of in terms of bunched copper,bare copper,PVC & GI wires
- Scrap Generation Details wrt to actual consumption
- Details of Short Length/Excess Length Generation
- Candidate Should be a certified cost accountant ICWA/CMA
