Job Description: Marketplace Lead

Roles & Responsibilities :
- Define a strategic roadmap for building and growing a Home marketplace in GCC
- Define drivers for the success of the channel, including criteria for seller & assortment selection, metrics to be targeted to enhance customer satisfaction and overall profitability of the channel
- Set financial and operational KPIs for the marketplace for the next 3 years. Be the P&L owner for the marketplace driving revenue and margins
- Identify opportunities, evaluate their business feasibility and devise a go-to-market approach for each opportunity
- End-to-end ownership of all marketplace processes and operations, to ensure a best-in-class experience for sellers at every stage of the partnership
- Evaluate the performance of the channel, by identifying opportunities to enhance metrics as well as correcting areas of under or non-performance with well-defined action plans
- Develop and lead a team of business development managers, account managers and content executives to onboard a curated set of sellers and manage their relationships
- Collaborate with a diverse set of teams, including platform merchandising, supply chain, technology, finance, and marketing among others to ensure seamless business operations
- Deliver on monthly and annual channel targets including GMV, NPS, and Profitability, by achieving required seller network growth and optimizing operating costs
