Job Title: IT BP Role

Job Summary -

Responsible for the overall financial management and controls for the IT department. Oversee the function of IT Financial Management to include cost center reporting; budget preparation and tracking; project tracking (CapEx / Operational G&A); asset management; billing; analysis; contract management; resource tracking (e.g., internal capitalizable labor).

Essential Functions (Key Responsibilities) -

- Provide a continuous flow of detailed financial oversight and analysis to support the IT department as well as other significant financial investments.

- Initiate cost efficiency and savings programs and audits (both internal and external) to ensure IT dept is in the best financial position possible.

- Plan and lead annual budgeting process for all IT spend, cost centers and projects.

- Track and ensure appropriate financial analysis is conducted for all IT Capital Expenditures and projects.

- Oversee procurement for IT related items (PCs, HW, SW, statements of work, etc..). Also, develop necessary procurement policies and procedures related to shipping, receiving, and asset mgmt.

- Manage the IT dept.'s internal time reporting in an effort to accurately capture and report on internal capitalizable labor efforts.

- Provide management with lease vs buy analysis as needed for IT-related acquisitions.

- Manage and maintain IT contracts database. Work in conjunction with internal departments (IT, Legal, Audit) and external vendors to ensure annual renewals and rates are appropriate and met on time.

- Work directly with the IT PMO office to assist in project financial management and reporting.

- Serve as liaison between the IT Dept. and Corporate Finance/Accounting Depts.

- Assist in the planning and preparation of regular IT Committee meetings to provide financial support.

Education and Experience Requirements

- Master's degree with a concentration of Finance or Business from Tier 1 Institutes.

- 7 to 13 years of experience in a multi-disciplined environment with an understanding of business dynamics and exposure to strategic budgeting, forecasting, and IT planning.

- Must have an experience in Finance Business Partnering with IT/ Consulting organizations.

Required Knowledge and Skills

- Strong financial skills, knowledge of financial applications, concepts, and theories including discounted cash flow analysis, internal rate of return, net present value, and ratio analysis.

- Prior experience and knowledge within an IT department focusing on financial and administrative oversight is a plus.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Ability to work as a team member.

- Access to highly confidential information.

- Strong Microsoft Excel and Power point skills.
