Role - Cluster Manager - Kolkata Function - Retail Operations Work Location - Kolkata Education: Post Graduate-Full time MBA Experience: 8-12 years of experience in Retail operations (franchisee operations preferred) SUMMARY To deliver operations P&amp;L through product, process, people, ambience, collaboration and service across all stores in the area. &nbsp; KEY RESPONSIBILITIES -&nbsp; Sales -&nbsp; - Formulate and implement store strategies for sales increase through promotions, enhancing customer experience and visual merchandising standards by adherence to POG guidelines. - Driving the budgeted topline &amp;bottomline. Stock management -&nbsp; - Weekly review of stock cover and STR and taking desired actions for achieving the end goals - Ensure perpetual inventory and global stock count is done as per schedule and corrections in stocks are done within the stipulated timelines. - Manage ideal stock density on the fixtures to ensure consistent look of the retail floor. - Work closely with the planning team on execution of consolidations and SMS/FMS action plan to ensure the desired sell through of each season are achieved before and after EOSS . - Ensure all stock movements based on consolidations and balancing are executed by the floor team within the stipulated timelines. - Monitor deliveries to stores by closely working with SCM and ensure TAT is followed. - Work closely with Planning on allocation and replenishments orders raised by Planning in line with the agreed days/timelines - Ensure store teams follow all the SOP's on stock management. - Periodic Product Feedback in line with the stipulated timelines. Business Review -&nbsp; - Present monthly business performance in the monthly business review meet which includes key insights on current month, plans and focus areas for the subsequent month and quarter. At least one new initiative per quarter to be executed. - Weekly/Monthly reviews with Cluster/Store Managers on performance and action plan for the subsequent weeks/months. For Spar stores plans to attain benchmarked contributions to be discussed. - Marketing, VM, HR, Training aspects to be covered in each review and recorded with clear execution timelines. Applicable for both Spar &amp; EB stores. - Conduct POG review twice in a month in alignment with VM/Planning/Buying and ensure corrections within stipulated time. Budget and expense control -&nbsp; - Prepare financial budgets for the area for the entire year - Manage costs within budgetary guidelines through efficient advance planning. Includes advance travel plan for store visit with clearly defined agenda for self and reporting teams. Store Operations standards and management - Have a clear understanding of SOP- s, downloading to the respective teams and ensure adherence through checklists/audits. - Ensure maintenance of retail standards as outlined in the SOP, VM document &amp; SM checklist. - Ensure all statutory compliances are adhered to at the stores. - Plan manpower deployment in line with the productivity and potential output of stores and to ensure budgeted numbers as outlined in the contract are maintained at all times by the Franchisee. Business Development -&nbsp; - Work on leads for new store locations and align respective functions for early closure. - Identifying new Franchisee partners for business expansion and closure of new locations within stipulated timelines. Two store closures every month to be targeted. - Coordinate planning and closure of all aspects of store opening with respective departments within the stipulated timelines. Marketing and VM Support -&nbsp; - Formulate marketing plans in alignment with the Marketing Team for the subsequent month/quarter. Also review plans every week and get the necessary corrections done if required. - Provide support to the marketing team for executing promotions. - Introducing promo tracker before implementing any promotion and monitoring the performance periodically to ensure the desired output is met. Analysing each promotion after closure and share learnings with the respective teams. - Identify, propose and coordinate execution of seasonal and location specific promotions and undertake cost benefit analysis as per defined guidelines. - Ensure VM changeover is done within stipulated timelines in alignment with the VM/Store Teams. Customer service -&nbsp; - Establish customer service norms within the stores and ensure they are met through training and regular audits like Mystery Shopping Audit/Commercial Audit (specific to franchisee stores) - Solicit customer feedback through questionnaires and working on the improvement areas to ensure customer delight. - Customer Related Complaints to be resolved within the stipulated guidelines. - Ensure store ambience is maintained in line with the stipulated guidelines. Market Focus -&nbsp; - Competition Analysis and for like to like businesses. - SWOT Analysis of other like to like formats People management -&nbsp; - Expectation setting and periodic reviews - Ensure all stores conduct the employee engagement activities in line with the HR calendar. - Ensure R&amp; R activities are conducted with defined timeframes - Formulation &amp; Execution of Incentive Plans - Ensure execution of training through monitoring of training calendar. - Guide, coach, train and mentor the team - Setting up a grievance redressal mechanism. - Identify &amp; upgrading at least two key talents every year who would be mentored to take an elevated role to be handled independently. - Attrition Control&nbsp;
