Function: Procurement

Location: Noida

Areas of Responsibility / Tasks:

- Lead GDC procurement team.

- Lead procurement of Indirect Material and Services for the GDC, ensuring best value through exploring different procurement options, whilst complying with the Category strategy & Group Procurement policy.

- Runs RFQ/ RFPs to multiple vendors.

- Perform negotiation on his/her own with key vendors.

- Build strong working relationship with key internal departments and external suppliers

- Analyze quotation, tender results and support vendors- selection & implementation incl.

- Acting as key point of contact for Transactional / operational procurement at the GDC.

- Accountable for the training and development of the local GDC based team.

- Analyze Supplier proposals and establish a comparison on like for like basis.

- Ensure up to date data quality by maintaining the company's contract management tool.

- Acting as key point of contact for Transactional / operational procurement related topics.

- Maintain the cost reduction Reporting.

- Communicate, control and secure procurement process compliance.

Qualification & Professional Experience

- Graduate or Post Graduate having 10 to 14 years of experience

- Play an active role in driving customer service with an emphasis on service improvement and process

- Good communication skills to all level in English

- Have effective experience of administering contracts

- Demonstrate a flexible and - can do- approach to work

- Good understanding of the procurement processes

- Experience in working under strong compliance measures
