Lafayette is a New York-based private equity real estate firm focused on the Single-Family Residential (- SFR- ) asset class. It is the pioneer in the SFR space since 2010 and currently has ~2,800 single-family homes &amp; approximately $570 million gross assets under management across all managed entities. Lafayette also recently signed a joint venture with The Carlyle Group (NASDAQ: CG) to deploy even more capital in the single-family homes asset class, particularly in the Build for Rent (- BFR- ) space. Lafayette also has a proven track record of originating bridge financing to real estate investors to fund the purchase of non-owner occupied residential properties and providing real estate-backed lines of credit, with over 700 loans originated and managed across all internal funds. Lafayette also owns a fully independent property management company called Brandywine Homes USA (- Brandywine- ). It was launched in 2014 and currently has 2,300+ homes under management, with 500 more under construction. With unique boots-on-the-ground expertise in local markets, Brandywine achieved a ~35% growth in properties under management between 2019 - 2020 and is on track to expand operations to new markets and into new lines of business. JOB SUMMARY - Lafayette is currently looking for a self-motivated and highly analytical real estate data analyst to support the asset management team's capability to drive asset-level performance through efficient handling and effective presentation of data. - The analyst would initially work remotely, with a potential relocation to our head office in New York City. A competitive salary, along with visa sponsorship for relocation to NYC is offered. - Gather and analyze data from various sources to calculate the weekly, monthly, and quarterly key performance indicators of the property management operations and report them directly to the senior management - Monitor rent rolls, lease expectations, turn times, delinquency rates, expenses, and other essential metrics across all our markets - Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the property management business and markets from a data perspective to ensure data integrity - Analyze periodic data including, but not limited to, rent increases, renewal rates, vacancy, and delinquency losses etc. - Assist the property controllers and others, including the Brandywine CEO, with periodic data management and validation - Prepare operational reports for the lenders, investors, and JV partners - Forecasting the business plans and preparing budgets based on historical datasets and the firm's strategy QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in real estate, accounting, computer science, data analytics or any other data related field - Real Estate (preferably residential) knowledge would be beneficial - Advanced skills in MS Excel and basic knowledge of VBA and/or SQL is required - Knowledge of Google Query Language and Power BI is highly preferred
