Job Description as follows:

Roles and Responsibilities

The Head of I&O Edge, APAC is accountable for:

- Developing strong relationships with Key Business stakeholders from Operating Companies (OpCos) located in APAC and India in partnership with internal Global Digital Hub (GDH) Teams at Mumbai

- Establishing the I&O Edge organization based at GDH and associated processes to deliver a dynamic, product-oriented, end-to-end infrastructure service that works hand-in-hand with the Global Digital Hub to satisfy the evolving needs of the LH business.

- Delivering new IT service management (ITSM) capabilities to the organization as it evolves.

- Guaranteeing the quality of I&O delivered services through the APAC scope, according to Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) committed through the Service Catalog, in a standardized and optimized manner.

- Provide vision and direction to drive empowered team members to deliver at pace with high-quality outputs and continuous improvement.

- Ensure exploration, experimentation, adoption and implementation of relevant technologies that are aligned with business strategic objectives.

- Managing services and products in accordance with LafargeHolcim compliance standards and policies.

- Managing 3rd Party partners required to deliver quality IT services at reasonable cost

- Collaboration across multiple time zones and cultures, and with various types of stakeholders.

MAIN ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Manage close relationships with the Global Digital Hub leadership team to ensure alignment of vision, strategy and expectations at the regional level.

- Encourage cross-functional collaboration within product teams and empower engineers to make decisions that drive high quality results and rapid achievement of business goals.

- Collaborate continuously with the I&O Global and Practice functions to increase simplicity, remove grey areas, and enable teams to deliver with minimized hand-off points.

Drive service improvements :

- Drive fiscal success with a strong focus on Cost Optimization by removing wastages and implementing quality, innovative & frugal solutions

- Encourage learning through experimentation and provide opportunities for growth both within and across disciplines.

- Encourage movement between roles to challenge the status quo and drive diversity in solutions and services.

- Deliver services to a diverse stakeholder group across different IT teams and countries

- Leverage a continuously growing and diverse set of technologies to ensure continuous improvement and an increasing pace of delivery.

Specific work experience:

- Strong IT management experience in an international context and with demonstrated success integrating new technologies and methodologies into a large organization.

- Experience managing offshore outsourcing organizations.

- Experience in global program roll-out.

- Experience managing complex, multi-year and international projects.

- Experience in budget management with a strong focus on cost control.

- Knowledge of and experience in working with procurement negotiating with vendors and service providers by providing key levers and requirements.

- Experience managing a data center that provides extended support for essential services to different regional business customers.

- At least 15 years of experience in the domain.

- Experience in Manufacturing, FMCG, Engineering companies will be advantageous

Technical / functional skills:

- Strategic vision about Operations in an IT organization.

- Financial Management, budget Control, and Cost optimization

- Broad range of understanding of enterprise Cloud infrastructure (IaaS and PaaS) and associated technologies.

- Broad range of understanding of Networking and SD WAN

- Broad range of understanding of ITIL, ITSM and industry best practices.

- Working knowledge of Agile / DevOps

- Broad range of understanding of ITIL, ITSM and industry best practices.

- Ability to understand and deliver infrastructure services which are provided on a 24x7x365 basis.
