Technical Sales Executive


Job Responsibilities & Duties:


1. Sourcing potential new customers and business contacts.

2. Maintaining regular/strong contact with existing customers.

3. Traveling to the customer's location to discuss about our product range.

4. Demonstrating the technical features and benefits of our products.

5. Composing tender documents and customer proposals.

6. Advising customers on technology upgrades and related products.

7. Building a strong dealer network.

8. Generating purchase orders and sales receipts.

9. Attending product training courses and seminars and participating in exhibitions.

10. Meeting sales targets.

Technical Sales Executive Requirements:

1. Previous experience as a sales executive.

2. Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment for quality control & research.

3. Excellent interpersonal skills.

4. Professional and friendly demeanor.

5. Strong communication skills.

6. Basic knowledge of computer systems and Office Software.

7. Ability to meet sales and commission targets.

8. Ability to travel.

9. Required Skills/Experience:

10. Previous experience in technical sales, preferably in the oil & gas sector

11. Degree / Diploma in Electrical or Electronics will be preferred, but not mandatory

12. The job involves extensive traveling in an allotted area.

13. Location/s of travel: South (Chennai/Bangalore), North (Delhi) and West (Mumbai). You will be allotted one region.

14. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

15. Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively

16. Analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving expertise

17. Ability to effectively prioritize and escalate customer issues

18. Ability to quickly and effectively understand and translate product and business requirements into technical solutions whilst adhering to the agreed specification

19. To timely update the tasks per the severity levels

20. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to be able to establish rapport with people at all levels

21. The ability to work in teams as well as independently

22. Take a proactive approach to work without close supervision

23. Should be patient, persistent and attentive to details with strong work ethic and Organizational Skills

24. Positive attitude

25. Sense of urgency and willingness to travel on short notice.
