About role

- As an Associate Project Manager, you will be an integral part of the Data Analytics Platform team that is responsible for ingesting big data on a daily basis and managing complex business rules for business/sales/marketing to build insightful reports for regional/country level business leadership at Fortune 1000 clients.

- You will be working with the team of technologists, data scientists, business analysts, reporting & data engineers and would tag team with the project manager in delivering a successful ongoing engagement.

- You will excel at this role if you are comfortable keeping multiple balls in the air, gathering business requirements, building/managing detailed project plans to deliver on requirements. Plus you should be obsessed with the quality that your team delivers and the structure & process that your team follows.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Assist Manager on Project Management in monitoring the development & delivery within the product life cycle of global product lines to manage resources and identify, monitor and mitigate risks; and to ensure projects are executed and completed on time, within budget and within scope.

- Work with all relevant stakeholders from various disciplines and external partners to follow up to ensure projects are within the scope and on track and plan solutions when needed for achieving the targets.

- Develop various project plans and ensure optimal quality of all projects and prepare schedules for the same and manage all technical resources.

- Able to do Quality Analysis, verify the test cases and suggest changes.

- Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, ensure resource availability and allocation; and monitor and summarize progress of projects.

- Act as a communication hub to Internal Resource Team for requirement elicitation, development & delivery information.

- Maintain, and continuously improve milestone / Highlight / Management reports and ensure data is accurate in informational systems.

- Documents important decisions and follows up to ensure the decision was implemented. Creates and effectively uses client's training guide documents.

- Follow through the detailed project plan to monitor and track progress. Coordinate & participate in Topline milestone meetings / Team reviews and drive the team to resolve issues raised in the meetings.

- Work closely with project teams including QA, Product Developers, Data Science to meet or exceed deliverables.

For this position, you must have:

1) Years of Experience Required:

- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with experiences in project management with Global projects

- A solid individual contributor in his/her professional field

2) Technical Skills Requirement:

- Degree in Engineering/Project Management/Business

- Able to handle projects independently to manage resources and identify, monitor and mitigate risks

- Good project management knowledge. (Project Management Body of Knowledge PMBOK principles)

- Acceptable exposure to product development processes.

- Acceptable exposure to market requirements/standards.

- Fast learner with a passion for continuous learning and expanding his/her technical skills is essential

- Strong teamwork capability, be able to cooperate with colleagues from different background, department and levels
