1) Develop in depth understanding of Indian as well as global technical textile market, customers- preference/ requirements and competitor strategies 2) Analyse the business potential and collaborate with MD to define business objectives for next 2-5 yrs with respect to production capacity, exports total revenue and overall profitability. 3) Continuously scan textile market and accordingly modify the strategies as per market dynamics 4) Drive customer centric marketing and product development activities in order to increase the revenue and profitability for the organization. 5) Establish strong relations with customers through focused approach as per customer segment to ensure business from new clients as well as from existing clients. 6) Collaborate with R & D head to identify technical/ application engineering requirements and capability building needs within the organization and strategize, with the help of existing business heads. 7) Lead the business development across product segments through guiding the accounts managers to maintain the relations with the existing clients and ensure contracts renewals on timely basis. 8) Drive collaboration between the marketing and product development team/ application engineer to ensure successful conversation of clients need into technical textile product 9) Provide inputs to Product Research team on new projects/ products as identified from market and pitch newly developed products to relevant stakeholders/ potential customers (e.g use of specific technical textile to reduce soil erosion)
