About the Role :

- This role involves building a network and setting up leverage lines with external counterparties like banks, BNPL players etc. to create various levered fixed income strategies and also support the lending requirements within Wealth Management to cater to the credit needs of our clients mainly High Net Worth individuals.

- Strong experience in dealing with external lenders, credit, underwriting and risk management skills is a necessity, alongside excellent communication skills to develop the product. This role could expand to include responsibility to cover other related offerings within Financial Solutions and hence candidate should have some degree of flexibility in general.

Key Responsibilities :

- Development of lending products and focus on structured financing solutions against various assets, i.e. Equities, Bonds, Alternative Investments, Structured Products etc.

- Partnership with external lenders including banks / funds and ability to negotiate lending capabilities for the entity.

- Understand and anticipate client needs and follow-up with effective products and lending solutions

- Work closely with the Legal team to develop Credit Policies, Lending Policies, Risk Policies, agreements etc. to cater to the Lending Solutions and adhere to the same.

- Work on other products within Financial Solutions Team e.g. Fund structuring, Business structuring solutions etc.

- Work with various internal terms for tech integration, marketing and sales team for business development.

Skills Required :

- A Chartered Accountant or Financial Risk Manager of Master's Degree in finance, or related disciplines

- Min 5 years of experience in relevant lending/ structuring solutions in a private bank/wealth management.

- Possesses good understanding and working knowledge of credit and risk management process, policies, and related legal/ regulatory requirements.

- Good writing and communication skills to negotiate with banks and clients.

- Strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of high standards

- Strong analytical mind to support or defend conclusions

- Business focused, open-minded and eager to take up new innovative business matters

- Self-driven, hands-on and motivated
