We are looking for a compliance officer to handle the regulatory compliance and the related operations of this entity Key responsibilities will include : - Develop and implement an effective compliance program - Create sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them - Manage regulatory filings/audit - Draft and revise company policies - Proactively audit processes, practices and documents to identify weaknesses - Evaluate business activities(e.g. investments) to assess compliance risk - Collaborate with regulators, auditors and internal stakeholders - Set plans to manage a crisis or compliance violation - Educate and train employees on regulations and industry practices - Address employee concerns or questions on legal compliance - Keep abreast of internal standards and business goals - KYC verification for clients Key skills we are looking for someone in this role : - Communication skills - Ability to interpret - Attention to detail and big picture - Ability to apply rules to real life facts - Risk assessment capability The candidate must be self-driven and motivated in an entrepreneurial atmosphere given that the firm is currently in a growth phase.
