Kristal.AI - Compliance Officer

Designation : Compliance officer

Location : Bangalore, India

Kristal.AI is looking for a Compliance officer.

What will you do :

- Lead the Compliance Advisory for Kristal.AI, India

- Co-lead the Compliance effort at Kristal.AI

- Liaison with the regulatory authorities

- Responsibility for defining and the implementation of regulatory requirements

- Monitoring industry and license specific regulations i.e. Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI), FEMA and RBI and disseminating information to the stakeholders with respect to the impact of regulations on business

- Developing and maintaining internal policies required by the regulator.

- Preparation & timely submission of reports to SEBI

- Assisting in Audits and Inspection by SEBI

- Advise on PMLA rules and regulations and assist with KYC verification and Risk assessment for individual and corporate clients

- Any other compliance matters that arise from time to time

What are we looking for :

- At least 3-4 years of prior legal / compliance experience in a financial institution

- Good communication skills (spoken and written English)

- Quick learner, proactive and highly business focused

- Excellent organizational skills, including time management, record keeping, self-scheduling, and follow-up

- Ability to draft clear and professional correspondence and other documents of a legal, compliance and business nature

- Flexible and ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple tasks within compressed timelines
