Key Responsibilities:-
The key responsibilities shall focus on the following:
- Frame credit policies and set up operational flow by working in close coordination with the legal team.
- Develop models for assigning credit limits, calculating discounting rates and tenures.
- Review all credit proposals, process information, perform credit investigations and approve/disapprove cases.
- Review status of delinquent accounts on a daily basis. Coordinate with the legal team on recovery efforts.
- Review and recommend accounts to be charged-off, prepare applicable reports and notify credit bureau/other authorities.
- Develop credit scoring models to predict risks and manage the portfolio effectively.
- Negotiate discounting terms and other terms and conditions with the clients.
- Monitor payments from the Enterprises highlight anomalies in the observed cashflow.
- Work closely with internal audit to plug any loophole in management of overall risk, both from operations as well as credit side.
Requirements:
- Should have hands on experience in credit underwriting in the initial years of their career
- Should have worked on developing credit policy framework of different secured/unsecured products
- Should have the experience to liaise with legal and operations team on product development and setting up the process
- Should have an overall work experience of at least 10 years in banks/financial institutions/fintechs
- Should be able to work in fast paced unstructured environment and handle pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Should be good with excel, word and powerpoint
- International trade finance experience is desirable but not mandatory
- MBA (Finance)/CA is desirable but not mandatory
