The CTO will be responsible for directing the planning, implementation and financial management of software products and enterprise wide IT infrastructure applications. The successful candidate will articulate a vision and lead the development and implementation of the system platforms that support the MPP enterprise. CTO will collaborate with the operating groups (research and trading) across the company to support our client's application development, integration efforts and security requirements to ensure alignment across the company.

The candidate will also define key processes, design architectures, oversee development in a CMMI level 3 environment. We are seeking a top-level technology expert to challenge the status quo and implement platforms that will help the organization build its business and efficiently manage our assets.

The candidate should be proficient with the following key technologies: Data analytics (Machine learning, Artificial intelligence and Statistics), Cloud Computing, IoT, Blockchain and Big data.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating officer, the CTO will work with key leaders across the organization to ensure that our systems are efficient, reliable and secure. As a thought leader and visionary, the successful candidate will not only build relationships with senior leadership, but also inspire and motivate our team of high-performing and engaged employees. From long-range planning to day-to-day operations, we require a dynamic leader who can transform their vision into a best in class IT structure.

Responsibilities :

- Set objectives and strategies for the IT department, including developing a technology and product road map for the company.

- Advise on design, implement and maintain systems to improve internal and external customer experience.

- Lead continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance service to internal and external customers.

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the department including directing teams who support platform and product development and maintenance, computing, networking, user services, telecommunications and other information technology functions.

- Oversee the technology infrastructure in the organization to ensure optimal performance.

- Maintain a proactive, disciplined operational environment based on ITIL and other operational best practices.

- Effectively manage communication with the user community, company management and partners.

- Assess and mitigate operational points of risk to ensure availability of key services.

- Organize and direct new technology initiatives and other project activities.

- Plan the implementation of new systems and provide guidance to IT professionals and other personnel within the organization.

- Routinely report project status and risks as well as escalate impactful issues and resolutions in a timely manner.

- Manage the ongoing performance and development of team members within the organization.

- Coordinate & manage the company technology budget, approve purchases of technology products, and consistently evaluate opportunities to reduce operational costs.


- Proven capabilities in translating technology needs into budgetary requirements.

- Oversee Change Management to ensure orderly updates and implementation of new features.

- Define operational performance metrics that align with the company's business objectives. Provide routine performance reporting against those objectives.

- Identify, evaluate and report on information security risks in a manner that meets compliance and regulatory requirements, and supports the risk posture of the enterprise. Define policies, standards and processes to ensure that our practices address points of risk.

- Ensure the creation of information security and risk management awareness training programs for all employees, contractors, and approved system users. Ensure the security of IT.

Qualifications :

- Thought-leader and visionary who is well-versed on information technology trends and can apply new technology to solve business problems.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related technology disciplines, and 15+ years of increasing responsibility at reputed organizations; Master's degree and additional specialized training such as an MBA is desirable.

- Experience with projects in the areas of Big Data, Data analytics (Machine learning, Artificial intelligence and Statistics), Cloud Computing, IoT, and Blockchain.

- Committed and motivated individual who leads by example. Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute under tight timelines.

- Aptitude for establishing and maintaining effective and trustworthy relationships with internal business leaders. Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify, develop, implement, and support technology solutions for the organization.

- Strong interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication skills.

- Must have substantial leadership experience in formulating, planning, leading, directing and controlling complex, broad, and highly technical functions. P&L experience a plus.

- In-depth knowledge of emerging technologies, trends, methodologies, and resource management principles

- Wide range of technical understanding across IT disciplines

- Proven ability to conceptualize and execute deadline driven projects with strong bias for action and ability to prioritize multiple and competing projects

- Demonstrated ability to create and implement a technology empowered business strategy

- Experience managing projects in a CMMI level 3 or higher organization.

Primary Responsibilities :

1. Understand the market scenario, manage the research part along with requirement generation in Product scenario.

2. Manage the END to END Product i.e. requirement gathering, create Product KPIs and Product Standardization.

3. Conceptualize new products and migrate existing suite of products that effectively utilize technologies like Big Data, Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, IoT and Blockchain.

4. Provides significant support in enhancing existing systems applications and facilitating the definition of solutions to meet business requirements, customer training and design reviews.

5. Works with customers/ stakeholders to understand critical business success factors and key performance indicators to be managed, negotiates desired service levels, minimizes business risks and diffuses conflict.
