The role would be responsible for generating and monitoring investment ideas, preparing detailed financial models, meeting companies and analysts, communicate efficiently with the HNI/UHNI clients, sales traders and sales team about the stocks under coverage on a regular basis. Major Accountabilities : - Build advanced Financial models complete with forecasted PnL, BS and CF statements complete with DCF and relative valuation analysis - - To ensure a good understanding of the sectors and drivers of all stocks being tracked. Requirement to do thorough study of annual reports as part of due diligence. - Have ones ears pegged to the ground to identify trends ahead of time.&nbsp; - Knowledge and understanding of various valuation methodologies and metrics therein; Prepare investment thesis for the stocks under coverage&nbsp; - Sector research, screening for potential investment ideas using a mix of valuation, industry research and preparation of company profile - - Preparing investment pitches &amp; presenting stock ideas to the investment team&nbsp; - Working directly with senior portfolio manager to identify &amp; recommend investment ideas - Evaluating stocks through an Hybrid approach of top down and bottom up research - Generate new actionable ideas during the year which are relatively under researched and with conviction present to the team&nbsp; - Responsible for interacting with clients to understand their need and to communicate the same to the team&nbsp; - Will also be responsible for database management, developing cash-flow/surveillance models, using third party wrapper libraries and performing data analytics.&nbsp; - Work closely with the investment team members to ensure Superior performance across recommended stocks and portfolios
