KPMG - Training Manager - Finance/Audit Domain - CFO Advisory Team - CA/CPA/ACCA (6-9 yrs)
The CFO Advisory team is looking to hire a Manager for the purpose of conducting training sessions demonstrating in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge in Finance, Accounting and other related subjects. The individual will be required to:
- Deliver training sessions/programs as per defined timelines and requirements
- Drive the training sessions with minimal assistance from the Project Director
- Manage client stakeholders in complex and strenuous training assignments
- Consistently deliver quality client services and take charge of the training sessions assigned to him/her
- Exercise awareness at existing clients for additional business opportunities and driving aggressive sales efforts
- Drive knowledge management within the CFO Advisory practice; mentor & develop young consultants
- Demonstrate ability to assimilate to new knowledge
- Remain current on new developments and industry knowledge
- Travel to client locations within India and abroad for conducting the training sessions
- Drive project P&L by monitoring billing, fee collection, controlling project expenses etc.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
The individual should:
- Possess strong domain knowledge and have strong accounting foundation skills to ensure accurate delivery at the training sessions
- Have hands-on theoretical and practical knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Have practical knowledge of finance function and financial reporting processes, compliances and requirements
- Have strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to address participant queries appropriately
- Possess good communication skills and presentation skills, easy orator skills and ability to develop and translate the desired view point to the trainees
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:
- 6-7 years of experience in conducting and effectively delivering training sessions to large audiences coming from different industries
- Qualified CA or CPA or ACCA with 4 - 5 years of practical experience in finance / audit
- Professionals with industry experience or experience in US GAAP, IFRS and accounting advisory
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
- Strong project planning and leadership
