KPMG - Manufacturing Excellence & Supply Chain Role - Pharma/Life Sciences Sector (7-13 yrs)
Required Skills:
- Skilled in identifying client business issues, determining client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches
- Analysing and identifying enablers for achieving the desired performance for the client
- Ability to conceptualize the solutions, develop, validate and implement the recommendations for the client in the context of the business goals
- Demonstrate expertise in process improvement activities
- Expertise in manufacturing strategy, layout planning, cost reduction, manpower optimization, throughput improvement, capacity modelling, production planning & scheduling, shop-floor management, manufacturing KPIs & manufacturing performance management in Pharma sector
- Leading and delivering large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement business and technology solutions
- Project management - independently managing teams (minimum 4-5 people member teams)
- Good communication skills and presentation skills. Easy orator and ability to develop and translate the consulting viewpoint to the client senior stakeholders
Qualifications & Experience :
- BE/ B.Tech and MBA from Premier B-Schools
- 7+ years of experience across Industry & Consulting, including the manufacturing shop-floor activities
- Experience in implementation of supply chain and manufacturing projects using proven methodologies (Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, TQM, TPM, BPR, TOC, asset optimization etc.)
- Knowledge and experience in the pharmaceuticals and life sciences sector will be an added advantage
- Black Belt / Green Belt certification is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication

- Able to thrive in relatively unstructured situations
- High initiative and drive, positive attitude and high commitment
- Maturity and ability to handle pressure
