KPMG - Consultant - IT Due Diligence (1-4 yrs)

Roles and responsibilities :

We are recruiting for a Consultant in the team. Working as a Consultant in this team, your responsibilities will include:

- Work under the supervision of the KGS IT Due Diligence Manager

- Reconcile Target provided data points against the requested data list

- Review and extract relevant data from the client provided documents and structure them for US team to analyze

- Communicate gaps. risks, related opportunities, investments and costs specifically around : Strategy, Organization & Governance, Applications, Assets, Infrastructure, Security and Compliance to KGS IT Due Diligence Manager or the US IT due diligence team as required

- Assist in research on Target around history, industry trends and issues. Collaborate with the US team to make the analysis relevant to Target.

- Assist in conducting benchmarking around IT spend, organization and others as requested

Essential skills required :

Education / professional qualifications :

- MBA / Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college/university

- MCSE or other infrastructure certification preferred, or equivalent experience

Prior Experience :

- The candidate must Three years of technology consulting experience focused on the deal advisory integration and separation processes

Technical skills :

- Experience in implementing Information Technology processes, technologies, best practices, and frameworks, including :

i. Application Support & Maintenance

ii. Network & Data Center Operations Management

iii. Software Development Life Cycle

iv. Service Management

v. Security

vi. Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity

vii. Cloud-based Deployment Models (e.g., Infrastructure-as-a-Service)

viii. Software Asset Management/Compliance

ix. Infrastructure Optimization (e.g., consolidation, rationalization, cost savings)

x. Service Level Definition and Agreements / IT Scorecard and Metrics

- Knowledge/certification in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) service management and service support processes, and CMM SEI and/or CoBiT standards

- Knowledge about enterprise business applications (e.g.ERP, CRM)

- Experience in assisting with technology assessment/due diligence

- Knowledge of 3rd party contractual relationships, including an understanding of sourcing deal/contract risk exposures and areas/gaps between current state and leading industry practices;

- Can work with other members of the IT Diligence team to develop current state findings, identification of risks and opportunities, and develop transformation plans;
