KPMG - Associate Director - Operations Improvement - Mining & Metal Domain - IIM/MDI/ISB/FMS (10-15 yrs)

The Customer advisory team is looking to hire an Associate Director in the Mining and Metal domain, with experience in consulting companies in the areas of operations improvement, procurement, and value-added downstream products. The individual will be required to:

- Deliver program/projects as per defined timelines

- Drive the solution thinking within the project team with minimal assistance from the Project Director

- Manage client stakeholders in complex and intense consulting assignments

- Mine existing clients for additional business opportunities and drive aggressive sales efforts

- Drive team P&L by monitoring billing, fee collection, controlling project expenses etc.

- Drive Knowledge Management; mentor & develop young consultants

 TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED :

The individual should have had work experience in:

- Leading and delivering large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions

- Experience of working with clients in areas in mining and metal around

- Business and Corporate Strategy

- Operations improvement across value chain

- Sourcing and Procurement

- Digital interventions

- Project management - managing team sizes of 3-4 people

- Delivering end to end consulting - design to implementation for clients

- A working knowledge of quantitative analysis techniques using excel/pivots and any other analytical tool software

- Good communication skills and presentation skills. Easy orator and ability to develop and translate the consulting view point to the client senior stakeholders

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED :

- MBA from a top-tier business school

- 10-12 years of experience with excellent understanding of customer-led business transformation

- Experience in working with - C- level executive clients

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills

- Strong project planning and leadership
