KPMG - Associate Director - IT Security Enablement (14-18 yrs)

Narrative :

- The Security Enablement Associate Director is a senior technical expert and thought leader with experience across multiple security architecture domains. The primary objectives are (1) to work collaboratively with distributed architecture teams as a trusted advisor to promote secure solution design, and (2) to produce re-usable technical artifacts to foster rapid adoption of technology in a secure way.

- The role require a mix of technical expertise and consulting skills to lead through influence and collaboration. A successful candidate must be equally skilled at discussing technical details with engineers as advocating for security investments with business stakeholders.

- The role requires a combination of technical depth and breadth. A successful candidate will have expert-level knowledge in one or more security domains and familiarity with multiple, but the candidate is not expected to be an expert in everything. They are however expected to have sufficient general technical familiarity to be able to rapidly familiarize themselves with new technical areas. Experience with emerging technology highly desirable.

Note: A candidate is not expected to have expertise in all of the above, but rather expert level knowledge in one or more and familiarity with several.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present to and influence both technical and business stakeholders. Ability to understand complex problems while presenting them simplistically.

Ability to produce written architecture artifacts including:

- Reference architectures

- Technical Patterns

- Principles

- Hardening standards

- Ability to produce and present presentations on technical subjects.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience working with emerging technology, defining effective security controls for cases of first impression

- Experience with security related regulatory requirements, such as NIST, PCI, ISO 27001, HIPAA compliance.

- CISSP or equivalent certification

- Subject-matter certification, ex: Microsoft, AWS, GCP certifications
