KPMG - Associate Director - Customer advisory Team - Metals & Mining Domain (6-10 yrs)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Customer advisory team is looking to hire an Associate Director/Manager/SeniorConsultant in the Mining and Metal domain, with experience in consulting companies in the areas of operations improvement, procurement and value-added downstream products. The individual will be required to:
- Deliver program / projects as per defined timelines
- Drive the solution thinking within the project team with minimal assistance from the Project Director
- Manage client stakeholders in complex and intense consulting assignments
- Mine existing clients for additional business opportunities and drive aggressive sales efforts
- Drive team P&L by monitoring billing, fee collection, controlling project expenses etc.
- Drive Knowledge Management ; mentor & develop young consultants
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
The individual should have had work experience in:
- Leading and delivering large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions
- Experience of working with clients in areas in mining and metal around
- Business and Corporate Strategy
- Operations improvement across value chain
- Sourcing and Procurement
- Digital interventions
- Project management - managing team sizes of 3-4 people
- Delivering end to end consulting - design to implementation for clients
- A working knowledge of quantitative analysis techniques using excel / pivots and any other analytical tool software
- Good communication skills and presentation skills. Easy orator and ability to develop and translate the consulting view point to the client senior stakeholders
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:
- MBA from a top-tier business school
- 10-12 years of experience with excellent understanding of customer led business transformation
- Experience in working with "C" level executive clients
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
- Strong project planning and leadership
