Kotak Education Foundation - Head - Operations - Vocational Training Program

The jobholder has the overall responsibility of managing the resources both physical and human resources across the 12 centers located in Mumbai. The key role will be in budgeting, controlling the costs and keeping the intervention on track quantitatively, qualitatively and financially.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Responsible for handling training centers for day to day activities in terms of delivery of sessions as per trackers, keeping all qualitative aspects and center discipline in mind.

- Responsible for the mobilization activity across Unnati centers to achieve expected aspirant numbers as per the criteria of KEF for the month/quarter/year.

- Review weekly & monthly financial and other activity trackers, MIS reports.

- Create a detailed work-plan in collaboration with the Operations and Mobilisation manager(s)

- Resolving disputes or any emergency events at the centers related to infrastructure, staff or aspirants

- Developing and implementing systems that increase the effectiveness and efficiency of work

- Manage the team's attendance and leave approvals

- Coordinating day to day finance operations; this includes processing deposits (if applicable), payables and reimbursements.

- Close liaising with the Corporate Networking team to ensure maximum placement of trained aspirants.

- Ensure renewal of leave and license agreements of centers before expiry or identification of suitable space within budget as replacement / new center

- Responsible for filing of expenditures for different programs

- Keep the PH updated on any infrastructure challenges at centers and recommending effective mechanisms to resolve

Education Qualification

- Minimum overall experience of 08 years of which at least 5 years in vocational skilling (for profit or not for profit) is mandatory.

- Team handling experience - should have handled a minimum team size of 25 employees

- Prior experience in budgeting and planning

- Excellent inter-personnel skills

- Well versed with the demographics of Mumbai
