Job Responsibilities:Branding:- Conceptualizing, Coordinating and directing the overall marketing effort of the company towards realizing volume and revenue goals.
- Responsible for the strategy, tactics and execution to create awareness demand and capture Market share for the company and its Brands through experiential marketing, communication-both ATL & BTL, strategic relationships, consumer promotions, events, PR & Online Marketing.
- To achieve the company's objective of sales growth, profits, and Brand equity through consistent marketing efforts in line with the corporate direction.
- Responsible for drawing up strategic and tactical marketing plan and maintaining the annual marketing budget.
- Conduct and analyze market research to determine risk and marketability of potential new products and product features and also for existing brands.
- Measure effectiveness of the marketing department and implement improvements and manage and train existing and new marketing staff if any.
- Identifying & developing new business opportunities.
- Developing and implementing annual brand plans
- Monitoring and analysis of sales figures
- Interacting with advertising, media and PR agency on all communication requirements
- Identify research needs, provide necessary brief to MR agency and implement actions based on findings.
- Working closely with promotion team (trade marketing) to ensure alignment of brand objectives
- Spearheading innovations within the marketing function
- Responsible for brand alliances, tie -ups, joint promos etc in line with brand objectives
- Conceptualizing and implementing consumer offers, trade offers etc in line with brand objectives
- Evaluating efficacy of marketing program.
- Brand performance analysis in relation to competing brands.
- To work on brand/line extensions.
- Over viewing the brand management aspects of new products.
- To play a vital role in research, market survey, product introduction, packaging development by liaising with Sales, Manufacturing, & Purchase functions.
- Analyze internal and external data, Do primary and secondary research, Set Brand Objectives, Formulate Brand Strategies - Positioning, Segmentation and Targeting, Brand Mix, Action Plans. Responsible for increase in market shares of brands assigned.
Budgeting:- Product History, Market Opportunity Analysis, Setting Financial Objective (Primary & ORG) for the Brands as per the division's needs, preparing the promotional budget as per the marketing plan.
New Product Launch:- Preparing launch calendar.
- Coordinating with the Business Development team/R & D/Packaging/Production Planning/Legal Brand Registration/Distribution/ Training.
- Preparing launch plan pre-launch, launch, post launch.
- Launching to Field Force.
- Follow up post launch monitoring prescribes, Rx, secondary sales and availability.
Digital Marketing:- The incumbent shall be responsible for developing and executing digital strategy for Stationery Business (General Traditional Trade/ General/Modern Trade/ Institutional wherever applicable)
- Will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing and managing the overall digital marketing and ecommerce strategy.
- Enhance brand presence on E-comm platforms with well-deployed & efficient campaigns
- Drive digital presence for the brand via a mix of social and digital platforms:
a. Develop and execute a Digital Marketing strategy to build consideration & drive preference for the Brand
b. Set relevant digital targets, benchmarks and monitor performance
c. Drive SEO, SEM
d. Drive traffic from social to brand assets like website / microsite etc.
Traits:
- Should be good in communication.
- Thorough experience in Brand building, promotions field.
- Preferably should have an experience in dealing with consumer products related to India distributor channel i.e of Retailers, Modern trade & Institution.
- Knowledge of tools like Google Analytics, Google adwords, FB manager, FB/YT social media analytics, Sprinklr - Knowledge and deep understanding of Search Engine Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, Marketing Automation, Affiliate Marketing
- Knowledge of running campaigns on various social media platforms - Understanding of various E-Commerce platforms Amazon Marketing Service, Flipkart and others
- Must have demonstrated successful implementation and shown tangible results
- Must have worked in a similar function in well-known FMCG/Stationery companies.
- Must have created/lead Digital campaigns and must be well versed.
