Senior Project Manager - JD
Experience:
Minimum 12 to 15 years of IT experience with 7+ years in AX (minimum 3 End to end implementation preferably for Manufacturing Industries). Hands on Technical and excellent knowledge in functional process of all the modules.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Overall Project Management, preparing project plan, risk analysis, resource allocation & management, timely delivery against milestones.
- Periodic Travel to USA/Europe
- Project Coordination - Provide direction, support and advice to ensure efficient and effective delivery of the project management function.
- Implement Microsoft Dynamics AX, going through all project phases from analysis, design, development, deployment, till operation phase, and post Go-Live support.
- Managing the day- to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple projects
- Formulate and update project plans and maintain schedules using Microsoft Project or any other tool.
- Identify resources required, assign responsibilities and coordinate between project team the customer to ensure successful completion of the project
- Actively involved in all phases of the lifecycle including System Study, Process Mapping, client interaction, decision-making, implementation, deployment and Business Development.
- Review and monitor progress against the project plan to ensure outputs are delivered to time and quality specifications.
- Managing and ensuring Successful end to end deliveries in the assigned projects, while complying with the organizational quality standards and goals.
- Communicate with customers, and prospective partners to establish effective working relationship and gaining acceptance to proposals and changes.
- Manage projects within the agreed budget, applying the defined change management processes when required and manage risks, issues and resources to ensure milestone dates are achieved.
- Participate in developing studies and strategies (analyse current situation, study, draw, and analyse value chain, develop international comparative studies and benchmarking, SWOT analysis etc.)
- NAV experience is an Added advantage.
Pre-Sales exposure:
- Interacting and Identifying the Business Needs of Customer and accordingly proceeding for a presentation, demo or POC.
- Understanding RFQ/RFI/RFP and extend help to BD team.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with customers, gaining acceptance to proposals and changes.
