Knowledge Specialist - Private Equity - Banking (6-10 yrs)
- Coordinate and manage the capture and sharing of PE practice knowledge base.
- Capture and process knowledge onto global intranet platform from client development and case team efforts
- Coordinate with other Knowledge Specialists to identify cross practice content priorities and identify gaps in the knowledge base
- Contact teams and practice affiliates to understand work and solicit most relevant content
- Manage metadata to facilitate user searching
- Help package and codify best thinking into insights, consistent with confidentiality guidelines
- Manage and maintain Practice page(s) on intranet; ensure best materials are represented and shared
- Help arm Partners and other members of the consulting staff with best intellectual property.
- Respond to requests for relevant content to support selling and serving activities
- Direct to the most relevant experts, reference case teams, or other known sources
- Assist with proposal development in select situations (e.g. credentials)
- Support the Practice Leadership and Practice Managers as they execute the practice strategy and manage practice operations.
- Track and analyze underlying drivers of practice performance and aid in strategic planning process
- Assist with the content planning and logistics for annual practice meetings
- Support practice affiliate engagement, including the preparation for experience sharing calls and publications
- Review Knowledge Management and other metrics to improve how captures and shares its intellectual property
- Serve as a member of global Product, Practice & Knowledge department, in line with Operating Principles
- Help to direct, coach, and oversee a more junior practice member's work (usually a Knowledge Associate based in New Delhi)
- Regularly communicate issues and progress to Manager(s)
- Demonstrate flexibility with the changing dynamic of industry, the leadership, and commercial demands for knowledge
- Contribute as a member of PPK and the larger community (e.g. participates in PPK group projects, training, experience sharing, mentoring and other initiatives, etc.).
