Knowledge Expert - Market Acceleration (Go-to-Market) WHAT YOU WILL DO : As a Knowledge Expert (KE) within Global Advantage Practice Area, you will work in a growing global team, providing industry expertise and insights. You will work together with case and proposal teams to provide expert advisory, and act as a primary KT touch-point to define the roadmap for knowledge assets. Alongside the business leadership team, you will shape the content and tools strategy as a content peer and sparring partner to practices leaders. The Knowledge Expert, Team Manager will : - Act as an expert resource for consulting and client teams on Global Advantage topics - focusing specifically on the topic of Market Acceleration (MAC); which is about driving Go-to-Market Strategy in Emerging Markets (GTM in EM) by accelerating sales &amp; distribution growth levers - Support the Topic Leader to further build the Market Acceleration topic including growing commercial footprint as well as organization's intellectual property - Deliver projects and initiatives to support the advancement and commercialization of the Practice Area - You will manage, develop and guide Knowledge Team members by developing the team's vision and plan - In effort to bring team members into the business, you will be responsible for staffing client facing team members on client projects, as well as develop and drive the team's vision and plan by managing the team Work with Consulting teams (both proposal and case work) : - Apply expert knowledge to satisfy complex client demands and deliver existing assets on GTM projects - Insert oneself into client projects and proposals, establishing credibility with client and consulting teams as an expert in the Go to Market Topic Area. Travel requirements to support client projects will be minimum 20% and may vary across the year - Play leading role in supporting the Managing Directors, Partners and Principals with proposals, client discussions and conversation starters leveraging topic expertise - Help practice area members navigating the Global Advantage knowledge network by connecting them with articles, materials, organization perspectives, and people Support Global Market Acceleration Topic Team Activation : - Develop and execute topic strategy / content map together with the Topic Leader and global topic cadre - Develop specialized knowledge that can be leveraged across other practices; present own original content in internal and client settings - Develop and manage key MAC products and tools end to end- including analytics-oriented ones; ensure best of knowledge is captured into Global Advantage knowledge infrastructure - Support commercial growth of the topic in existing and new markets - Leading marketing activities internally (affiliation) and externally (publication, events, etc) in coordination with GA marketing manager and topic leaders - Support Practice Area Infrastructure - Support the Regional Practice Area Leader in the growth of the Global Advantage Practice Area case work and affiliation in Asia Pacific - Support and lead internal initiatives in the Knowledge Team to improve collaboration across topics and regions, to increase efficiency and effectiveness of internal processes etc. - Support the local office, e.g. train analysts or consultants, and represent the Global Advantage practice area at local events - Manage the Knowledge team - Function as a line manager for a team of MAC Knowledge Analysts team - Manage team's capacity and deploy resources according to business needs - taking into account key KPI's - Help team members structure and prioritize their work - Ensure high quality output from team members - Drive goal setting, performance evaluation, career tracking, and long-term professional development - Play active role in recruitment and on-boarding according to business needs YOU ARE GOOD AT : - Applying deep topic/sector expertise when building and deploying a product/tool/data, taking different client contexts into account - Leading, coaching, and developing people - Presenting expertise in internal/external meetings &amp; conferences - Working collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic (often virtual), proficient in Agile ways of working - Managing and communicating with senior stakeholders, demonstrating presence, and credibility - Framing, structuring, and sharing intellectual property, with the ability to write clearly and concisely - Working creatively and analytically in a time-limited, problem-solving environment YOU BRING (Education &amp; Qualification) : - MBA from premier B-School with at least 10 years of overall experience spanned across sales &amp; distribution, roll out of sales technology systems and excellent process management in transformational client settings - Demonstrated expertise in sales &amp; distribution function (preference for experience in the FMCG and Industrial Goods industry) - Expertise in go-to-market in emerging market topics desirable - Line and project management experience. Demonstrated expertise to facilitate business change - superior problem solving and business acumen - Strong ability to work with multiple clients in fast-paced environment, prioritize requests and manage expectations of client - Collaborative team manager with strong leadership and coaching skills, work ethics and service-mentality with experience of working in a matrix organization YOU WILL WORK WITH : - As a Knowledge Expert and a Topic leader of Market Acceleration Topic (MAC) of Global Advantage Practice Area.
