Sr. Content Specialist

Job Summary:

- The senior content development specialist is a critical role in our Content and Facilitation (C&F) team that sits within the Integrated Consulting Team (ICT) at Knolskape.

- While the ICT team is focused on identifying and designing broad elements of learning & development that meet our clients current and future needs, the C&F team plays a pivotal role in further defining these elements and building them out within the context and culture of the client organization. The C&F team is responsible for the final deliverable that a participant experiences and hence plays an important role in influencing program success and our brand in the market.

- Knolskape simulations are broadly categorized into two groups: Leading Now and Leading Next.

- Leading Next is a portfolio of future-focused learning products and journeys that enable clients to build digital mindsets and cultures in support of their digital transformation journey.

- The primary responsibility of this role is to develop content for programs aligned to our Leading Next portfolio. Contained in this portfolio are programs that build capabilities to lead, strategize, and execute in a digital world. Please note that these programs do not build tech capabilities but are focused on mindsets, behaviors, and leadership capabilities that support successful digital transformation journeys.

- The individual must be experienced in the three key domains that intersect for being successful in this role: Instructional Design mastery; Learning & Development expertise; and Digital savviness.

- The incumbent should be prepared to work in a dynamic and flexible environment with quick turnaround times and changing requirements. Understanding the customer need, designing and developing the right solutions, and ensuring the successful delivery of the content are some key expectations of the role.

Requirements:

- 10-12 years of experience in Leadership/Behavioral - training and content design.

- Expertise in performance consulting to go deep into topics and accurately identify needs.

- Skilled in various mechanisms of instructional design.

- Knowledge of adult learning theories and leadership development principles.

- Detail orientation on latest technologies being adapted by organizations for digital transformation (like AI, ML etc.).

- Demonstrated ability communicating and presenting to all levels of management including senior executives.

- Excellent writing capabilities with proven experience of publishing across platforms like social media, academic/management journals, and print media.

- Knowledge of design thinking, data analytics, and agile methodology.

- A strong research mindset and scientific orientation to building impactful learning content.

- Advanced proficiency and experience in:

- Office applications (like MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Publisher, Adobe Pro)

- Web-based collaborative platforms (like SharePoint, MS Teams)

- Authoring tools (like Articulate, Lectora, Captivate)

Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Analysis:

a. Participate in and conduct stakeholder conversations to understand client needs, challenges, and requirement.

b. Creation of stakeholder analysis reports and getting sign off from the client.

c. Develop sufficient understanding of the assigned areas and customer needs.

Design, Development, and Maintenance of program content:

a. Understand the business problem, learner profiles, and evaluation criteria to design appropriate learning solutions.

b. Conduct primary and secondary research to ensure contextualization of content to meet client industry, needs, and challenges

c. Apply adult learning and instructional design principles to have sustained and observable impact on learners.

d. Develop variety of course content like in-class exercises, quizzes, assessments, case studies, post program toolkits, etc.

e. Create instructor notes to accompany training materials.

Internal stakeholder management:

a. Collaborate with internal stakeholders as needed to understand need and get buy-in on solutions.

Process Improvement:

a. Track and report feedback of all content elements.

b. Seek feedback from internal teams, client stakeholders, and facilitators.

c. Analyze and take corrective measures to improve content based on feedback and metrics.
