Klarity (tryklarity.com Y Combinator S18) uses AI to automate document review for the world's most innovative companies. Our customers include companies like Coupa, Okta, RingCentral, Optimizely, and Lattice and use Klarity to (1) save time and cost, (2) reduce compliance risk, and (3) ease the pain of doc review.

We are looking to add a brilliant individual who will lead our Legal Operations team in Bangalore. Your work will help shape the future of the legal profession.

We are founded by Harvard Law and MIT grads and have spent years working on our core AI platform. We recently decided to focus on the Revenue Recognition use case. Since then we've experienced extremely strong growth and have 4xd our revenue in just the last 6 months.

We are looking for someone incredibly capable to take charge of Klarity's Bangalore legal team and all legal operations performed by the team. This team's primary function is the review of customer contracts necessary to service customers and train the core AI platform. Your work will be absolutely critical to the company's success as the quality of contract review is the biggest determining factor in the performance of the AI platform. As such, this role will include a generous cash and equity package.

Responsibilities:

- Managing Klarity's Legal Team, currently composed of 14 stellar lawyers, most of whom hold several degrees, including from top Indian and European Law Schools.

- Using Analytics and internal tools to ensure quality and speed.

- Working directly with customers alongside the CEO and CTO.

- Working closely with the product team to design and deploy new internal tools.

Requirements:

- Excellent management skills with a non-hierarchical, inclusive leadership style.

- Prior experience working with contracts. A law degree is NOT necessary.

- Strong work ethic and ability to operate with high velocity.

- High Technical Aptitude with an eye for product design and automation.
