Position Purpose:
- The role of the Regulatory Reporting Supervisor is based in Pune, India. This individual will assist with the management of the organization's regulatory reporting process, as well as, the implementation of system enhancements. He/she will assist in the deployment of various procedures and the preparation of the regulatory reports of the Citco banks and other regulated entities that are located in Europe, Canada and the Caribbean ensure a strong internal control environment.
- The individual will liaise directly with the centralized regulatory reporting team that is located in Amsterdam, Netherlands. This individual will play a key role in ensuring that all regulatory reports are timeously and accurately completed.
Main Job Functions/Tasks
- Daily Monitoring and Reporting to Senior Management on key liquidity risk drivers through Regulatory Metrics like Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), ALMM and other Regulatory Metrics for EBA.
- Preparation of regulatory reporting reports for the Citco banks, across 5 key regions and other regulated entities across the globe, so as to ensure compliance
- Individual Contributor to the team and further develop the teams overall responsibilities.
- Support the business in decision making with impact assessments of new regulations and announcements that may affect the organization
- Develop and maintain controls to validate with reasonable certainty the accuracy and completeness of the data input into the calculations
- Automate and streamline the current processes to improve reporting analysis, commentary, data quality, timeliness and accuracy.
- Ensure that the team meets all the requirements and deadlines relating to Regulatory Reporting activities and ensure that the necessary protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with regional treasury to deliver on mandatory regulatory change agenda.
- Analyze and explain key day on day drivers for movement's in liquidity position of the firm through various liquidity risk metrics
Professional experience and personal characteristics:
- Minimum 2 years previous experience in Treasury/ Liquidity Risk/ Regulatory Reporting within Investment Banking
- Good understanding of CRD IV, Basel III and consolidations
- Any prior experience of regulatory reporting in The Netherlands, Ireland, Canada and Luxembourg is highly desirable.
- Strong working knowledge of the regulatory reporting requirements and IT tools.
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to learn Finance specific systems
- Strong analytical skills
- Understanding of financial products
- Financial services industry exposure / good working knowledge in Financial reporting function, Capital Market knowledge
- Strong working knowledge of the regulatory reporting requirements and IT tools.
