The marketing team at Khatabook believes in creating a brand that speaks directly to its audience. As a UX writer at Khatabook, you will be required to write user centric copy for Khatabook and its products. We are looking for someone who can write and edit the text that enables users to easily navigate our products and accomplish their intended goals including but not limited to user navigation, error messages, onboarding flows, feature naming, tooltips, etc that facilitate the end-to-end user experience. On a typical day, you'll : - Design copy for the User Interface - Make interactions on Khatabook and it's app simpler, more human, more real. - Interact cross-functionally - Continually interact with product, development, marketing, and other teams to consume ideas, understand functionality, user requirements and more, to craft accurate, helpful copy. - Apply a customer-centric approach - Understand that customer-centricity is a core organizational value. Anticipate customer requirements based on their objectives and craft helpful, innovative solutions. - Think scale and optimization - Think about scalable language and design systems and structures to support and meet scaling business requirements. - Mentor a team of ux writers and manage their pipeline - Create content architecture for various Khatabook platforms We hope you've got : - Impeccable language skills, and a love for the Oxford comma - Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects at the same time - Experience working with Engineers, Designers, Marketers, Product Managers, etc. - An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating user-centered design solutions - At least a degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing - Relevant experience in the digital space - Apps, e-commerce, digital marketing - UX-focused writing samples and style guidelines for web and mobile applications, - Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities : - Identify opportunities and define UX solutions to evolve our product offerings across platforms, entry points, surfaces, and products. - Write UI text that facilitates user navigation, as well as onboarding, promos, error messages, notifications, and more. - Act as a subject matter expert for concise, human-centered writing within the team. - Plan, document, and maintain writing guidelines and word lists / glossary for internal stakeholders. - Enable cross-functional stakeholders to evolve product strategy conversations and build consensus by demonstrating systems thinking through word lists, style guides, content governance standards, information architecture, voice and tone, etc. - Define process for the team.
