Job Description :

Within the Banking, team our client currently have an exciting opportunity for an account management position. Based in Mumbai the account manager manages and grows his/her book of business, utilizing deep domain knowledge of the clients' business practices. The main focus of the role will be to look after customers in the banking space.

Responsibilities :

Oversees the client relationship with the objective of securing existing business and winning new business.

Pro-actively leads and executes sales and strategic campaigns for recurring and outright revenue in Our client's product suite.

Establishes strong, long-term customer relationships with key decision makers.

Leads the wider team of desktop, feeds and technical specialists.

Provides domain expertise relative to the customer segment.

- Work directly with customers to provide additional information, updates, and resolution to issues escalated from the clients

- Maintain a high level of knowledge on the products and Fixed Income markets

- Build and maintain relationships with other resolver groups across the organization to ensure appropriate resolutions are provided in a timely and accurate manner

- Take ownership of escalated issues and manage product/service outages

- Analyze various reports to look for opportunities to improve client experience and drive client satisfaction.

- Assist in pre-sales activities by servicing prospects as stated above

Required Skills :

- Past experience (2-5 years) in the financial industry in the area of financial data, specifically relating to debt markets, including corporate or government bonds, asset backed and structured finance, interest rate swaps, foreign exchange, or all of the above.

- Must demonstrate knowledge of a trading professional's workflow, typical industry content and products, and market/industry knowledge.

- Strong effective communication skills, including succinct writing skills are required, as our client ll as critical reasoning skills in identifying problems and solutions quickly.

- Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills are required to manage outstanding issues until resolution. Strong follow-up skills and a track record for influencing people outside of your span of control will enable you to excel at this position.

- Analytical, organized, detail oriented, and disciplined. Proven quick learners (self motivation) and logical reasoning skills.

- An ability to effectively work within a team and collaborate is required. Comfortable with presentation and our client b conferencing (such as Our client bEx or GoToMeeting).

- Deep understanding of the Our client's product proposition (especially the commodities offering).

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of Our client's products and services

- Experience working in a matrix organisation

- Strong financial-markets and economic field knowledge; Excellent customer service experience and focus; Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written; Excellent problem-solving skills; Complete mastery of using the Internet as a research tool; Strong knowledge in a wide-array of Our client's products and content; Ability to work under pressure .

SCOPE & IMPACT :

- Owns account relationship and drives overall customer satisfaction for assigned accounts.

- May be responsible for net sales and revenue for assigned accounts.

- This is an individual contributor role and does not have people management responsibilities.

- Works under general supervision of manager.

- Strong understanding of customers and their business model and workflows.

- Relationship building skills.

- Selling skills (identity, develop and articulate a complex proposition/consultative selling).

- Strong negotiation skills.

- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop and execute a sales plan, ability to use a variety of technology with a high level of proficiency.

- Problem solving - ability to understand, articulate, structure and solve client needs.

- Presentation and communication skills: ability to deliver presentations and communicate at all levels within an organization.

- Ability to collaborate with account team.

RELATIONSHIPS: INTERNAL / EXTERNAL -

- May include sales professionals, product specialists, trainers, consultants, marketing, senior leadership, etc.

- Key stakeholders within assigned accounts and banking industry associations.

Qualifications

- Masters degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.

- Strong understanding of financial institutions, their business model and workflows.

- Significant experience in working with banking clients on the sales & product side.
