Key Account Manager - Training & Development Firm (3-7 yrs)

For five decades our client has partnered with organizations around the world to consult, assess, design, develop, deliver, reinforce, and sustain learning solutions.

As the Key Account Manager, you will develop, grow and retain major accounts through strategic consultative sales activities to achieve sales quota for the company.

What you will do:

- Generating new revenue opportunities by researching, qualifying and closing business in both new and existing accounts

- Establishing productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer account

- Diagnosing client needs on an on-going basis to maintain and grow existing accounts

- Creating and updating Sales Forecasts that reflects the status of potential and booked revenue

- Updating the sales forecast system on a regular basis

- Providing input, assisting, and/or developing proposals in response to client requests

- Presenting capabilities to clients and prospects, using PowerPoint, webcasting and/or teleconferencing as well as face to face meetings

- Using subject matter experts and other internal resources as required to advance sales opportunities

- Meeting sales and margin objectives as assigned

- Responsible for ensuring that profitable sales volume and strategic objective targets are met for the assigned key accounts

- Participating in sales planning and account strategy sessions as required

- Other duties as may be required

What you need to know/have:

- Demonstrable experience of 3-7 years experience in Sales and HRD

- Prior exp of high value training sales is a great plus

- Ability to work with long sales cycles

- Extremely articulate and well spoken

- Ability to develop a strong portfolio of accounts via own prospecting efforts

- Effective at working independently from home office with minimal supervision

- High level of conscientiousness

- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with sales support resources

- Ability to develop sales prospects using a strategic approach that differentiates strong opportunities from weak ones

Salary offered: 12- 14 LPA
