Job Profile

- He/she assist the Channel Manager- Cash and Carry in delivering the overall regional sales objectives, supervises, fine-tunes and monitors the execution and takes pro-active initiatives to seize every opportunity to increase the sales in accordance with the companies- policies and strategies.

- Execute annual plans for the entire Product range including value, volume and margin targets through the National and Regional Chains/Key Accounts.

- Developing and nurturing productive long term relationships with National Key Accounts viz. Big Bazaar, ABRL, D - Mart, Metro, Walmart etc.

Develop volume forecasts and plans.

- Develop long term strategies with the accounts for market strategies for area distribution encompassing outlet coverage, availability and visibility.

- Implement and administer sales systems, reporting, distributor policies, stock norms, application of credit and discounts, billing and collections.

- Work closely with Category/Consumer Marketing team to build merchandising tools linked to brand initiatives driving our key agenda of - Execution Excellence- in-store.

- Implement, negotiate and Manage JBPs to deliver mutually profitable sales growth for assigned customers.

- Manage terms of Trade with MT customers with win-win situation on customer expectations & margin requirements

- Drives top-line growth in the customer & ensures delivery of execution KPIs for assigned customers across geo's.

- Responsible for quarterly planning, negotiation with customers and executing plans on a continuous basis.

- Need to monitor category-wise growths and shares at his customer.

- Ensures all new launches are landed on time and to ensure all activations are run well.

- Ensuring controls & financial hygiene - Along with Commercial & Supply Chain team, KAM is supposed to have check on system hygiene at customers on aspects like short payments, asset implementation, visibility and promotion deployment, discount hygiene etc.

- Develop Sales promotion plans for delivering sales volumes.

- Develop, negotiate, sell and execute optimal TOT and ensure compliance.

- Develop appropriate marketing and activation calendars with the Accounts in alignment with the Overall Marketing calendar, trade promotions, NPD launches, etc.

- Analyse performance of Accounts at regular intervals to initiate corrective action.

- Develop in-store visibility plans in coordination with local Distributor's management; and follow-up to achieve timely & effective implementation.

- Ensure periodic meetings at customer outlets to calibrate customer expectations, understand competitor plans in order to proactively counter competitive action.

- Lead development and of activation programs for the Modern Trade Channel.
