Key Account Manager - Modern Trade - Consumer Durable (4-8 yrs)
The purpose of this position is to develop new national key accounts for retail in organized retail stores and ensure servicing of these accounts through retail operations. The National Key Account Manager will be responsible to develop and implement (together with the Zonal Managers) a sales strategy focused on the retail key account sector for various product ranges. Seamlessly manage and develop the accounts, whilst establishing a new account. The responsibility will include the following but not limited to :
- Formulation of Key Account Strategy
- Identify, evaluate, negotiate and bring new key accounts
- Mapping of National Key Accounts/ tracking and chasing opportunities
- Negotiate commercials and ensure targeted profitability of the accounts
- Profitability analysis
- Sales Forecasting
- Provide input for product development required for the channel
- Account management for repeat business
- Visual merchandising and display plans to support key account promotion campaigns.
- Establish and manage the customer service management
- Policy and strategy formulation
- Operations procedures
