We are looking for Key Account Managers for various locations, please have a look at the JD Carefully before applying. The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) is a key position in our organisation. You are responsible for keeping relationships with up to 25 key Member Firms of and ensuring service delivery towards those Members. Establish a strong working relationship with the SPOC and senior management at the Member Firm. - Work with him/her to identify 6 other key managers at the Member firm, who can engage in different platforms. - Conduct 1 meeting per quarter with each person in each company to get to know them. Conduct meetings with the client SPOC as and when needed - Be active on social media/twitter and follow clients, managers - Broadly understand issues of policy, research, vision, strategy and operations - Understand the Member Firm company structure, what each company is doing, and planning to do strategically - Understand their overall vision and how it aligns with the organisation and what are their expectations from us - Agree with the SPOC and the managers on the key deliverables will be providing for the year for the Member Firm - this has to be an iterative process where the senior leadership and functional heads have to agree to those deliverables, hence the SAM will have to build a consensus around the deliverables from both sides - Interacts regularly with the leadership and staff to keep up with the activities, especially research, CoE, technology, Startups, policy, skilling - Pursuades internal teams to deliver what was promised to the client. To look after client best interests within the organisation activities - Proactively look for upselling opportunities with client - how to sell further the products and services to client, for example, futureskills, Startup program, etc. - Prepare a monthly MIS (1 pager) of what is delivered to the client - Prepare a one page Quarterly report on each of the clients and deliver to the senior management Skills required from candidate : - Ability to start and develop professional relationships with senior level executives - Conduct primary and secondary research on companies and their strategic direction - Strong writing, speaking and listening communication skills in English - Ability to build consensus for what is the client requirement and potential commitment - Can operate alone without a reporting team - Can set his/her own work structure, given the overall direction - Ability to write short summaries and reports - Ability to see the bigger picture of what the client is doing and what is being done internally in the organisation and link them together
