Sr. Manager Warehouse & Supply chain

Role Title: Sr. Manager Warehouse & Supply Chain Department: Supply Chain

Reporting to: CEO Location: New Delhi

Purpose :

- Be responsible for proceeding purchase order after appropriate purchase request has been proposed and following up delivery schedule, monitoring purchase order and continuing deliveries are correct. 


- Implements policies and procedures under the guidance of CEO.

Key Responsibilities :

- Safeguard the inventories by receiving and storing items adequately and protecting them from pilferage and spoilage

- Ensure that all incoming items are undamaged, in quantities as indicated in the accompanying invoice/delivery docket and meets the Company quality standards

- Code and summarise all requisitions in accordance with issue timetable

- Ensure all store requisitions and orders are handled immediately, in case of some problems or delay should be reported to CEO who will take appropriate steps to expedite matters

- Maintain an up to date list of authorized signatories who may sign requisitions

- Identify and organize adequate storage for all perpetual inventory items and implement company policy, products and initiatives in order to maximize cost effectiveness

- Maintain adequate record keeping and issuance procedures

- Post orders to inventory module and produce purchase order for receiver to match against goods received

- Liaise with senior managers on ordering of goods which fall outside the agreed financial parameters

- Ensure timeous and correct completion of all administration in respect of deliveries

- Undertake planning and calculations(logistics) for dispatch in terms of numbers, volume to be dispatched

- Coordinate with transporters towards organizing transport of material to desired location

- Coordinate with outlets towards ensuring smooth conduct of despatches

- Ensure physical verification of material to be dispatched in accordance with the loading sheet

- Undertake renewal of renewal of annual contracts with transporters

- Carry out bill passing activities related to transporters

- Attend to any complaints from outlets of wrong deliveries

- Responsible for store inventory reconciliation

- Provide status reports for management in the form of regular MIS and highlight concern areas (if any)

- Complete all documentation and take the necessary action in cases of non-delivery, substandard deliveries or over pricing

- Ensure that all items are stored correctly, in terms of temperature, humidity and shelf life and that no food items are stored on the floor

- Ensure that all issues are made against requisitions and that no items leave the store area without appropriate documentation or signature

- Ensure maximum security of all storeareas, that no unauthorised person enters the stores or is issued with a key allowing access

- Oversee monthly physical verification of stocks. Take stock at prescribed intervals and ensure that all necessary administration is completed without delay

- Keep adequate up to date files for warehouse records, establishes and maintains a proper filing system for easy reference. Maintain files of stock list, catalogues, price sheets and discounts.Maintain file of current specifications approved by Department concerned

- Analyse and monitor sales records and trends to anticipate guest consumption patterns and determine what the company will sell and how much inventory is needed for the same

- Ensure inventory taking of food, beverage, operating supplies and operating equipment are conducted as per schedules

- Maintain and review computerised or manual records of items purchased, costs, delivery, product quality and inventories

- Manage Stores - Raw materials, procured products, ensuring optimal storage costs and appropriate levels of security

- Take monthly meetings to resolve the challenges if any in day to day operations and for awareness of what is happening new on both the sides


Salary offered : 10-12 LPA (Negotiable)
