Kemin Industries - Manager - Process Engineering (8-12 yrs)

- Plan, develop and work independently on plant projects including evaluation, selection, capex preparation, installation and commissioning of the same.

- Optimize productivity by designing, implementing, and testing new/current processes.

- Ensure Continuous improvement in process, cost, quality, and production.

- Responsible for researching new technology and suggesting engineering project proposals to the decision-makers.

- Develop of Block Flow Diagrams (BFD), Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).

- Ensure User Requirement Specifications (URS) are properly spelt out.

- Prepare capex proposals and submit for approvals.

- Maintain all the necessary documents such equipment lists, Process engineering calculations, material, and energy balance

- Generate project status reports.

- Interface with client and vendors to define project scope, resolve technical issues, and assist with preparation of procurement documents.

- Analyze current production procedures and standards to identify inefficiencies and propose the work methodology for process and plant engineering improvements.

- Achieve Operational Excellence via efficient plant design, planning of workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout and ensure continuous improvement.

- Ensure that requirements of ISO 9001 - 2008, HACCP, FAMI-QS and other internal and international standards are implemented and maintained.

- Manage the departmental budget and controlling expenses effectively.

- Effectively hire, train, develop, and appraise staff and take corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy.

- Develop and present management reports and presentations as required by the management.
