Role: Business Analyst Location: Mumbai Job Summary: We are looking for highly motivated, self-driven individuals who love working with data, find insights and build models on the same. This candidate will be working very closely with founders. This individual will be responsible for handling a large pool of structured/ unstructured data and extract useful information out of it to drive the business forward. The person should be well versed with python programming (and/or R) and libraries like numpy, pandas, Beautiful soup, useful for data exploration and scraping. Also candidate should know about whole data science cycle from gathering data, doing exploratory analysis to building data science models. Responsibilities and Duties: - Work on vague business problems and build insights around them - Leverage various analytical tools to do EDA (exploratory data analytics) and build Data science models - Built python web crawler to scrape data at regular intervals - Extract and store data in SQL/NoSQL database - The data needs to be cleaned and processed as per given guidelines - Write technical documentation Role Requirements: - Must Have: Strong coding experience in Python with proficiency in Pandas, Numpy, Beautiful Soup - Must Have: Experience with SQL/ NoSQL database - Must Have: Experience with Excel - Strong fundamentals on Data Analytics and Data Modelling - Most importantly willingness to try new things, open mind and readiness to do hard work. - Passionate about coding and working with data - Good problem solving skills. - Loves puzzles/Logical reasoning Qualification and Experience: - B.E. / B.Tech. in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent qualification with 3+ years experience in Data Analytics/Data Sciences
