Managing the full financing function of the LLP and reporting directly to the Managing Partner. The tasks and responsibilities include : - Performing the accounting function &amp; maintenance of books and records - Manage all local tax reporting, filing and tax related payments requirements - Prepare and file local statutory accounts; coordinate the external audit - Prepare reporting in IFRS format with the assistance of external advisors as required - Compliance with EY advised investment structure for the business objectives - Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations including SEBI regulations as applicable - Co-ordinate as required with any client's designated depository participant with respect to making investments, returns and redemption of FPI investments - Assist clients, as needed, with local co-ordination with advisors to fulfill tax filings, payments and any other compliances - Manage treasury function for the LLP and where required provide assistance to clients with respect to onshore FPI investments - Complete, implement and ensure compliance with LLP policy and procedures manual and any other procedures and policy documents such as expense policy and expense budgets - Prepare LLP budgets and forecasts &amp; perform analyses of budget-to-actual - Maintain relationships with external advisors - Working with any internal auditors or with clients and their advisors to ensure that the LLP as a service provider meets the required quality, control and other benchmarks as may be applicable pursuant to client requirements - Working with the Investment Advisory team of the LLP with respect to Financial Due Diligence of potential investee entities. Coordinating with a Top Accounting Firm: - If required - Parent Company Review &amp; Corporate guarantor review - Project SPV/ Issuer review of books and records - Material contracts review - Review of assets, liabilities, guarantees &amp; obligations, taxation, statutory liabilities and insurance - Checks on Registrar of Companies site for liens, mortgage, charges etc - Role in ongoing asset managements - Daily online review of project receivables escrow account - Review of the audit of the project company/SPV - Review of the MIS information provided by the developer, review of the work done by the investment individual with respect to the maintenance of the Project Cashflow Model and co-signing off with respect to (a) maintenance of the Project Cashflow Model and its reconciliation with the escrow bank statements (b) review of monthly MIS and (c) co- signing the compliance with all covenants agreed in the definitive agreements
